The simusun lighting is a game changer, it just alters the lights that come in the Vault Tec DLC to make them white and bright, and you can use them in any settlement to get the same even lighting. And with how expansive the area is (not to mention additional mods that can make quick work of scrapping additional things), you have way more than enough resources to use as you build! The only downside is the damned lighting that remains from removed objects and other lighting points that are invasive/parasitic and can't be removed.
